Anxiety?

Anxiety Handling Anxiety

Sometimes in life anxiety sets in on us. I find the older I get, the less I handle it as well.  I’m finding ways to cope when it hits.

Sometimes talking to a friend helps it settle down. A listening ear or someone sharing a laugh with you makes you feel better. Other times crying it out helps relieve the stress.

I find running to God’s word, especially the Psalms gives me comfort.

“Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭61:1-2‬

Often playing a calming song or going on a walk.. fresh air and sunshine does wonders to settle your troubled spirit.

I usually always end up running to God in prayer and asking him how to handle it. I have learned if I can avoid the situation that’s causing me to stress, and God leads me to do that, than I do.

Sometimes we are in the middle of a situation and we have to get through. Then I call out to him for comfort and strength to finish. He always helps me through.

If you’re facing anxiety today over anything, run to Jesus in prayer.
