Have you ever stopped to think about yourself and how you engage in business? Sometimes the reason as to why you fail is not because you deserve failure, but because you did not observe some basic rules in life that I refer to as CAMPARI. This is an abbreviation of words that are powerful and if practiced you will better your business skills. Let’s look at each one of them with its definition and meaning;

C-atalyst by simplest definition it means increasing the rate but in business I relate it to multiplying. Are a person who has a multiplier characteristic. For example, if you are given $ 1 to invest, are you able to double it Parable of the talents in the bible. The lesson I draw from it is that success is a product of our work.

A-live by simplest definition means not dead! There’s a saying that goes life is for the living. Life does not mean just being there but being able to think and act. When you are able to think right then your actions will most likely be right.

M-otivated by simple definition means having a reason for doing something. I normally refer to it as. what’s your purpose for that business? What makes you wake up in the morning to do it. Is it because you want money or you find pleasure doing it with or without money?

P-rice by simple definition means pay the amount of money/investment required. Being in business you must be ready to input something in order to output something. You cannot input nothing and expect to output something. Basically, the Law of Karma is at work here;‘all actions have consequences which. will affect the doer of the action at some future time’.

A-mbitious by simple definition means strong desire. Life is not for the faint-hearted here and so is business. If you ask a small business owner about what they would like to be in the future, I suppose the obvious answer would be a prominent business person. The word prominent comes with large business investments worth millions of Dollars. Moving from operating a micro-business to a macro business.

R-Ready by simple definition means fully prepared. Three components that make up a human being complete i.e. Mind, Body and Soul. In business you should align your mind to the business you want/are in through carrying out market research in order to remain relevant or else you will find yourself obsolete, your body needs to be healthy at all times. A sick person cannot conduct meaningful business, and your soul/spiritual part of you should be ready to engage in an honest/genuine business if you want to be in business for long. Otherwise, delusive/synthetic business are normally short-lived.

I-innovative by simple definition means incubating and hatching new ideas/ways of doing business. We are living in a very competitive world today where innovation/creativity is at work. You may not be the original innovator of the idea but you can improve on it making it better than the rest. God himself was innovative because He created the world from a formless and desolate to the beautiful thing we all live in, meaning if the world was His business, then we are all his clients/customers!
