What’s in a blessing!
We all got to know the source of our blessings. Biblical meaning is favored status with God.
In my life I have always asked myself where do blessings come from and who is this person responsible for tapping and forwarding blessings to you. Is it my personal efforts or is it that of my parent (s) or is it somebody somewhere that I even don’t know or is it that whether I don’t have anyone or myself, God chose me just like that! No effort, No one no nothing; but blessings flow.
This question has disturbed me over the years. Who knows the source of their blessings?
I don’t have my own house but this ever drunk man has; I don’t have a car but this careless person has more than one; I don’t afford travels but this money-wasting person travels far and wide.
A story is told of a rich man who owns a multimillion- business. His story is known too well that he’s a robber and a womanizer fact in the recent; he took away his son's girls friend and impregnated her. But look at him, he keeps exchanging cars like a cup of tea and built very expensive houses. He has supported his locals build a very big church.
I see people who don’t deserve to win lotteries/charities because of their bad character/behaviors, but still they win!
People who don’t deserve to get good jobs /salaries but still they earn even more beyond your expectations
People who steal in broad daylight, but they never get caught or worst still live to see their century in life.
Who is that person you keep wondering how he /she has managed to be that wealthy yet you remain down there! You pray every day, you help people, I mean you are a true definition of all the good things! Or maybe the right source of your blessing is still at large.
There are things in life that we will come to know, others we will never come to know and Blessing is one of those things I guess we will never know.
Am I alone in this or we are many who ask this kind of question?
I still want to ask what’s in a blessing! to me it still remains to be an illusion, a hidden secret that can never be understood by any human being.
