Are you gonna miss the dead relative last face due to your own religion

-----

"You wretched girl! Hurry up and go see your mother one last time!"

There was a funeral where the mother had arranged everything according to her wishes. The son had no religious affiliation, while the two daughters followed other religions.

Throughout the funeral, the son accompanied the priest in chanting scriptures, offering incense, and participating in all the rituals.

The two daughters stood outside the mourning hall the entire time.

They didn't take incense.

They didn't participate in the rituals.

They didn't even go to the coffin to see their mother.

Relatives tried to persuade them. Friends tried to persuade them.

They insisted.

Because they believed their faith couldn't allow them to do this.

Until the very last moment before the funeral procession, the staff couldn't bear to see them like this anymore.

They said to them:

"We're going to seal the coffin now. Inside lies your mother who gave you life. If you don't go in to see her now, once the coffin is sealed and she's buried, you'll never see her again."

The two daughters burst into tears.

Finally, they went in and stood by the coffin.

To see their mother one last time.

At that moment, there was no religion.

Only the daughters who were about to lose their mother forever.

Does faith bring us closer to love?

Or does it drive us away from love?

I respect every religion. Everyone has the right to uphold their beliefs.

But if one day, because of religion, you refuse to see your mother one last time, are you truly upholding your faith, or is your faith holding you hostage?

If it were you, facing the final journey of your loved one, would you adhere to your religious stance, or would you choose to see them off on their final journey?
