ASUU AND STRIKE: TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN
ASUU and strike have now become synonymous. ASUU is now strike and strike is now ASUU. When nest the oxford dictionary is to be reviewed, I think, and I can boldly suggest that another meaning for strike should be ASUU. It is beyond reasonable doubt that education has lost it's value in Nigeria.
Those in the helm of affairs do not give a shit about educating the restless army of ill-informed young men and woman rooming our streets aimlessly.
It seems that election is far more important than education to all these scums we call our leaders.
little wonder Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world. Little wonder Nigerian has the highest number of out of school children. Little wonder that insecurity has become the order of the day.
When you fail to invest in the Education of your citizens, you will use that same money to build prisons and correctional centers all over the country. I wish ASUU and the Nigerian government all the best in their already embarked upon one month strike!
