LMIA means Labour Market Impact Assessment. It is a document that a Canadian employer obtains to prove that they could not find a Canadian for the job, so they want to hire a foreigner.
Many agents charge 1 to 1.5 million naira to find LMIA jobs. But you can do it for free
Here is how
1. Job Bank Canada (jobbank.gc.ca):* This is the official Canadian government job site. Filter for "LMIA approved" and "Foreign candidates can apply". These are real jobs.
*2. Indeed Canada:* Search for "LMIA available". Many employers write "We provide LMIA for the right candidate" in the job description.
*3. Direct Email:* Find small companies in Canada in food factories, cleaning, and caregiving. Send them an email: "I am willing to work, do you support LMIA?" If you send 10 emails, you will get at least 1 reply.
Jobs that provide LMIA quickly include: Food processing worker, farm worker, caregiver, truck driver, and cleaner.
Do not pay any agent before you get a job offer. A real LMIA employer does not charge money for a job. Once you have the LMIA and a job offer, you can apply for a work permit. The process takes about 6 months.
