Many people have habits that cause damage to their brains without them knowing. Examples of such habits are taking alcohol, sleeping late, not drinking water as per the advice given by health consultants among others. These habits are destructive and therefore people should refrain from them. Contrary there are habits that if done daily would increase one's alertness and IQ. These habits are:
- Drinking water frequently
- Exercising once in a while especially in the morning
- Eating fruits
- Reading constructive literature eg novels, journals, etc
- Avoiding arguments
- sleeping and waking up early
Watching television especially among children is very harmful. This habit is a thief of creativity. Parents should always keep a close watch on habits their children practice as some damage their brains when they are still young.
