Tobacco should be banned

Tobacco farmers would think that we were attacking them or we had some personal grudges against them, but we don't. Tobacco is the source of livelihood for many especially in countries like Colombia but at the expense of others' health. Tobacco is a source of many respiratory diseases and therefore gives it a more valid reason why it should be banned. When one smokes tobacco it produces a substance known as taa that is harmful to the human body. Tobacco smoked in form of cigarettes releases 5000+ chemicals which at least 70 are known to cause cancer. It's very ironic that in schools people are taught how harmful smoking tobacco is but they still indulge in smoking it. Companies that manufacture cigarettes also write boldly for the consumer that tobacco is harmful but people won't still listen. Tobacco causes throat cancer and lung cancer and if that's not enough it also contributes to global warming. Tobacco should be banned for the sake of people's health.
