Nelson Mandela once said, "education is the key to success." This is statement is true than it is false. Some of the poorest countries in the globe are led by leaders who have no value in education. Education secures the future of a country and that's why countries invest heavily in it. China and Japan have one of the hardest curricula in the globe and the results are put out there for everyone to see. China and Japan are some of the most industrious countries in the world and I believe it's because of their emphasis on the education sector. There are many countries whose success is credited to education. Some of the benefits of education are:
- An individual can communicate his/her ideas to others. People may have ideas and if one is unable to communicate they are useless.
- Education equips one with the ability of critical thinking.
- Education helps one to be open-minded. This helps an individual to make most of the oppoturninities offered to him/her.
- Education also promotes gender equality as it empowers women.
Education improves the survival of humans. More research has been done in regards to medicine, this improves people's lives and reduces the mortality rate. Education is important and should not be taken lightly.
