Article:
I did not plan to submit. I did not plan to surrender. I did not plan to love this person.
I told myself I would be strong. I told myself I would not fall. I told myself I would protect my heart this time.
But destiny had another plan.
Destiny made me submit. Not because I was weak, but because I was tired of fighting what was meant for me.
Sometimes, destiny will bring a person into your life and no matter how much you run, you will still find your way back to them. You will try to forget them, but their name will keep coming back. You will try to move on, but your heart will refuse to move.
That is what destiny does. It does not ask for your permission. It just makes you submit.
I submitted to the feelings I tried to hide.
I submitted to the love I tried to deny.
I submitted to the person I tried to avoid.
And for the first time, submitting did not feel like losing. It felt like peace. It felt like coming home.
Because sometimes, submitting is not defeat. Submitting is accepting that some people are written in your destiny. You can fight it, you can delay it, but you cannot escape it.
Destiny made me submit, and I am no longer ashamed to say it.
I love this person. I choose this person. Not because I have no choice, but because my heart has already chosen.
Have you ever submitted to destiny? Did you fight it or did you accept it? Tell me in the comments.
