For beginning, I dey make one big mistake wey many new business owners dey make.

I dey price my goods too low because I dey fear say customers go run.

If I buy something for ₦800, I go sell am for ₦900. I dey think say, "At least I make ₦100." But I forget transport, I forget my time, I forget data wey I use post am. At the end of the day, I dey work, but money no dey remain.

Na that time I learn say, if you no price well, you go close shop without knowing why.

So now, na so I dey price my goods:

*1. I Add Everything Wey I Spend*

If I buy am for ₦800, and transport na ₦200, that means e don cost me ₦1,000 already. I no go sell am for ₦1,000, because that one na zero profit.

*2. I Add My Small Profit On Top*

After I know say e cost me ₦1,000, I go add like ₦300 or ₦400 on top. So I go sell am for ₦1,300 or ₦1,400. Na that ₦300 be my real profit.

*3. I No Dey Fear To Charge Wetin E Worth*

Before, I dey fear say if I put ₦1,400, customers no go buy. But I learn say, customer wey really need am go buy am. The ones wey go run because of ₦200 extra, dem no be your real customers.

One day, one customer tell me, "Your own too cost." I just smile, I tell am, "Aunty, na quality I dey sell." She still buy am. And she come back again.

*Lesson Wey I Learn:*

No sell because you want make everybody happy. Sell because you want your business to survive. If you price too low, you go tire, you go broke, you go close shop.

If you dey start business for Agbor, price am well. Know your cost, add your profit, stand on your price.
