Prevention of Eye Infection

According to the popular saying "Prevention is better than cure". It is better to prevent an infection if there are means to than to spend more money on the treatment. Below are the following ways we can prevent an eye infection:

1) Use Safety Eyewear: Always put on a safety glass anytime you are using hazardous materials around the work environment or at home.

2) Quit Smoking: Apart from smoking damage the respiratory organs, it also has it's own side effects on the eye such as cataracts, uveitis etc.

3) Practice the 20/20/20 Rule: You all will be wondering what the 20/20/20 rule is all about, anyways it is a very simple logic which involves you resting your eyes every twenty(20) minutes and look twenty (20) feet away for twenty(20) seconds. Isn't it simple.

4) Take your Makeup off at the End of the Day: This is particular for the ladies that love applying makeup on their face. Always keep a makeup removal pad at your bedside if you are too tired to wash your face. This will prevent styes caused by excessive oil glands secreted in the face when you sleep with your makeup.

5) Wear Sunglasses: Put on sunglasses during the day when you are outdoor to prevent ultraviolet (UV) rays.

6) Get your Eyes Checked Every Two(2) Years: A thorough medical checkup for the eyes is always necessary to help determine symptoms of infection earlier.

The tips are very simple and easy to follow. And I can guarantee you an efficient eye ability if you can follow the tips promptly.
