The Lord God has prepared a place of rest in heaven for each of us. Our entire life are, therefore, continuous battle to reach it, by listening in acting on the message of the good news that is preached to us.
Our obedience to the word of God prepare us for our entrance into that place of rest,which our Lord revealed to those who believe in him in today's gospel passage. The word of God tell us that when it people heard that our Lord had arrived at Capernaum.
They gathered in the house to such extent that there was no space any where, not even at the door. The friends of the paralytic knew that only Jesus could heal their friend and restore him health.
They were not detected by the crowd. They made an opening in the roof of the house and lowered him directly before our Lord. Seeing their faith, our Lord healed the paralytic
(Heal and restore us o Lord. Amen)
