I wonder which kind of education do the African countries intended to enhance. Do they mean the global perspective trend of education?
If they planned to prove Western people that globalisation as an instrument for galvanising Africans into more submissive behaviour.
The system is manipulative to the extent of changing everything through the suggested, planned and implementation of alien ideology in the system of socialisation and/or education, then I am sure very soon the volume of debt in Africa will definitely skyrocket to unimaginable sizes.
There are more than the educational summit behind the recently completed said summit. What we Africans are yet to realise in the general philosophy of globalisation was the lopsidedness of both the benefits and negative impacts of the collective global agreement in social and economic engagements.
The system of globalisation is favourable to developed economies and purely hazardous to developing economies.
The exchange or transfer of cultural, philosophical and ideological means of doing things over the world were quite different from one side to side; moreover, even within a given country used to exist difference in the process of executing life practices let alone the regional or continental frontiers.
The Western Union, Africa, Asia, Latin America and specifically as the new terminology denotes "Global North and Global South" are not the same in regards to every "ism" and will not be the same forever as the mission were designed in the direction of having constant dichotomous end results.
For the sake of simple clarification, how do you think will it be to have: a new student of primary, one from junior secondary, another from senior secondary, the fourth student from either college or mono/polytechnic and the last one from University or even postgraduate school with intention for giving them the same treatment in relation to learning experiences?
The outcomes of the learning experience at evaluation level will resulted to biase and inconsistency to some group of learners which at the end will put them at disadvantage side.
Therefore, to have equal plan and shared goals between developed and developing or in real fact underdeveloped economies in every aspect of life is a global warming in itself despite that one we were experiencing due to the industrial strives.
Then there is need for African countries to stand for realistic vision and practicable missions for their development and this must be in cash and in kind.
If not as they were treading in hurry and towards lifetime length trouble of flowing sea the outcomes will never be suitable no matter how great the so-called foreign aid they received.
