GOOD READERS

GOOD READERS  ASK QUESTIONS: Before we read, while we read, and After we read.

GOOD READERS MAKE PREDICTIONS:

Predict before you read a text by looking at the title and picture. Predict  while you read about how the story will end. Predict after you read about what else could happen in the story.

GOOD READERS IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM AND THE SOLUTION: What is the problem in the story?

-Read some of the story.

-Find out what is happening.

-Determine the problem.

-What is the solution in the story?

-Finish the story.

-Find out how the problem was solved.

GOOD READERS SUMMARIZE: Read and remember the events. Choose the most important events. Tell the story again in one sentence.
