I find this topic really interesting and educating,everyone seems to know the definition of knowledge but are still struggling to know the means of acquiring it.Get it right here,knowledge is everywhere
It is left for you to achieve it the best way you can.
So many individual acquire knowledge that destroy and terminate their life and future,while some acquire the knowledge that makes them outstanding.choose wisely!. Many have the means. Of acquiring this knowledge but fail to make use of it.e.g our spiritual fathers,parents and mentors are of high experience than we are.a lot of knowledge have been passed unto them,they were once like you and i,they strive to aquire these knowledge by relating with people of higher experience who share their personal experience with them.Through this medium knowledge of the unknown would. Be acquired.
I could remember a two years ago while i was in school,there was a question ringing in my mind,and it was so obvious that i have no knowledge of the answer.I took a step to one of my teacher and i never regret it,she shared her experience with me and from that i got the knowledge of what i wanted.i i had stayed in one place hoping or waiting for knowledge to hug me,i would have end up being a time waster,but i took a step and knowledge was acquired.
Futhermore there is another strong means at which you can acquire knowledge and that is through Books(reading).some of the writers of the early17s,18s and 19s are dead and gone,but their knowledge have been tranferred into their books where all ideas,innovation and creativity emanate from.They are dead; yes! But their books serve as a means of acquiring knowledge.if you are a good reader,you tends to stand out among others because the knowledge you acquire seperates you from others.
We all know that technology have taken over the world,bringing good and bad knowledge.Irrespective of that,we can also acquire good knowledge from the creative invention of search engines( e.g google,bing etc).Build yourself with information,make research,surf good educationa website for more insight,it details you on things you have no idea about .there and then you acquire that knowledge you've always wanted.communication is not excluded from it,as the saying goes" a close mouth is a close destiny".dont be afraid or shy to ask of what you dont know,you never can tell who holds the right answer to your question.
Lastly in acquiring knowledge you have to be a teacher.i guess some questions are running in your mind,let me answer it.you dont need to be employed in a school before you become a teacher,so long as you educate two or moe individual and creat impact in them you automstically become a teacher.And what is required of a teacher?a teacher prepare ahead of class,teachers are readers and readers are leaders.from their personal reading and research they aquire knowledge ehich they also transfer to other individual under them.you will see inspirational teachers teaching for hours,yet they are nor short of words.why is this so? It is clearly stated that "the more you teach; the more you acquire more knowledge".
It is never too late to acquire knowledge as long as there is life.The quest for knowledge is not a waste of time,only the fools feel so,but the wise see it as a step to sucess and fufilling purpose.
