Valentine is coming, where is your boyfriend, you are so lonely. This Tiktok sound is so funny and I'm sure it has gotten on so many singles around even before the day itself.
It's the fifteenth day of February, and the love is still spreading. Good thing you should know is you musn't be in a relationship to earn love.
It's nice to feel loved, get gifts from someone you cherish, be able to say ''awwwn" and "I love you so much, thanks for all that you do". The ferlfee you get when the dispatch rider calls to get your address and you're greeted with a surprise package. You can post on your stories to show the world that you are loved and blessed with thoughtful people. It's a very nice feeling anyone would love.
But then, not everyone gets to be in a relationship and get surprise gifts that will make its way to insta stories. This might be cliche but being single is not a crime.
Look around you, you have a lot of people that love you including yourself. This is where we preach self love. No one can love you more than yourself. Valentine isn't just about getting love, giving love is part of it too. There so much satisfaction in knowing that you make someone smile.
This is what we should practice more. Spoil yourself, spend time with your family and friends, spoil them too if you can. Some of us actually know we don't deserve Valentine's gift. They say givers never lack. Have you given a gift to someone before?
It doesn't matter if you don't get a gift in return, it's the happiness and satisfaction that comes from giving that matters.
So this love season, don't be sad about not getting anything from anyone or not getting calls and love you texts. Be happy with yourself, spend time with your loved ones and love yourself more.
