If Victor Osimhen ever agrees to move to Saudi Arabia, the numbers will be unbelievable.

We have all seen the headlines: €30 million per year, €40 million per year, €120 million for three years. But headlines do not tell the full story.

How much will Osimhen REALLY collect? Let us break it down properly, like a real finance report.

1. BASE SALARY: THE MAIN MONEY

Al-Hilal reportedly offered Osimhen between €30 million and €40 million per year in base salary.

If we take the middle offer of €35 million per year, and a 3-year contract, that is:

€35 million x 3 years = €105 million

In Naira, that is over ₦180 billion in salary alone for three years.

For comparison, at Galatasaray, Osimhen earns around €12 million to €15 million per year. The Saudi offer is almost three times more.

2. SIGNING BONUS: MONEY FOR JUST SIGNING

Top players do not just get salary. They get a signing bonus for agreeing to join.

For a player of Osimhen's level, that bonus is usually between €10 million and €15 million, paid once.

So, add €12 million just for signing the paper.

Total so far: €117 million

3. PERFORMANCE BONUSES: GOALS EQUAL MONEY

Saudi contracts also include bonuses for goals, assists, winning the league, and playing in the Club World Cup.

If Osimhen scores 25+ goals a season and wins trophies, he could earn an extra €3 million to €5 million per year.

Over 3 years, that is another €9 million to €15 million.

Let us take a safe estimate: €10 million in bonuses.

Total so far: €127 million

4. IMAGE RIGHTS AND ENDORSEMENTS

In Saudi Arabia, clubs also pay for a player's image rights. This means they can use his face for adverts, billboards, and shirt sales.

Osimhen could earn an extra €5 million to €8 million from this over the contract.

Let us add €6 million.

Total so far: €133 million

5. THE DEDUCTIONS: AGENT AND TAX

This is the part many people forget. Osimhen will not keep everything.

Agent commission is usually 10%. On a €133 million deal, his agent could take around €10 million to €13 million.

Tax in Saudi Arabia is very low for foreign players, which is one of the biggest reasons players go there. Unlike in Italy where tax is very high, in Saudi he would keep almost all of his salary.

After agent fees, Osimhen could still take home around €120 million in 3 years.

That is about €40 million per year. About €770,000 per week. About €110,000 per day.

6. WHAT ABOUT NAPOLI AND GALATASARAY?

Before Osimhen collects anything, the clubs must agree. Napoli held a €75 million release clause. Al-Hilal offered €65 million plus €5 million in add-ons, which was rejected.

That transfer fee does not go to Osimhen. It goes to the club. But it shows how expensive the total package is. The club would pay €75 million to buy him, plus €133 million to pay him. Total cost: over €200 million for one player.

That is why Al-Hilal eventually paused the deal. The numbers were too big, even for Saudi Arabia.

CONCLUSION: IS IT WORTH IT?

If Osimhen goes to Saudi, he will become one of the highest-paid footballers in the world. He will secure his family for generations.

But he will also give up Champions League nights, Premier League dreams, and the global spotlight of Europe.

Money is important, but legacy is also money in the long run. That is why he is still thinking carefully.

So tell me, what do YOU think? If you were Osimhen, would you take the €120 million and go to Saudi, or stay in Europe for glory?
