No-bake banana pudding

No-bake banana pudding.

Ingredients

1 box (5.1 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix

3 cups cold milk

1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed

1 box vanilla wafers

4-5 ripe bananas, sliced

Instructions

Prepare pudding: Whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk in a large bowl for about 2 minutes, until thickened.

Combine with whipped topping: Gently fold in half of the whipped topping into the pudding mixture.

Assemble: In a trifle bowl or a 9x13-inch pan, start with a layer of vanilla wafers, followed by a layer of sliced bananas. Spread about half of the pudding mixture over the bananas. Repeat the layers, ending with the remaining pudding mixture.

Top and chill: Spread the remaining whipped topping on top. For a final touch, you can add a few extra wafers or banana slices on top.

Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the wafers have softened and the pud

ding is set.
