Pakistan ‘successfully completes’ trial of Chinese herbal medicine to fight Covid

Pakistani wellbeing experts on Monday declared the fruition of an effective clinical preliminary of Chinese conventional home grown medication for treating Covid-19, as the South Asian country enters a fifth flood of the pandemic driven by the Omicron variation.

The Chinese medication, Jinhua Qinggan Granules (JHQG) made by Juxiechang (Beijing) drug Co Ltd, is as of now being utilized in treatment of Covid-19 patients in China.

"Since it was taken a stab at patients with various variations of Covid-19, we anticipate that it should be viable on Omicron as on different variations," Professor Iqbal Chaudhry, head of the International Center for Chemical and Biological Science (ICCBS) where preliminaries were led, told journalists.
