She used me for exam runs and later slept with my best freind ep1

My name is David. I’m 17 years old, in SS3, and this is the story of how I gave my heart to the wrong girl.

It started on a Monday morning. I was standing by the school gate, waiting for the bell, when I saw her for the first time.

Her name was Anita.

She was new in our school—light-skinned, soft voice, always smelling nice, and always walking like she didn’t have a single problem in this life. Every boy wanted to talk to her, but she didn’t really answer anyone.

I didn’t even plan to talk to her. I didn’t think I had a chance. I wasn’t popular. I wasn’t rich. I just loved books. I was one of the best students in school, and most of the teachers liked me.

One afternoon, I was in the library when I saw her again. She was looking lost. She had a Chemistry textbook in her hand and a confused look on her face.

She walked up to me and said, “Please, can you help me explain this topic?”

I froze.

She was talking to me?

I smiled and nodded. “Of course.”

That was how it started. From that day, she began to sit with me in class. We started talking every day. She laughed at my jokes. She started calling me every night to explain schoolwork.

My heart was already going far.

I didn’t know I was just being used.

I thought it was love.

But it was just the beginning…

After that day in the library, Anita and I became close.

Every morning, she waited for me by the school gate.

Every break time, we ate together.

She would rest her head on my shoulder during prep and whisper, “You’re so smart, David. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”

I felt like the luckiest boy in the whole school.

She told me she didn’t like too many people. She said most of the boys in school were proud and only wanted her for her body. But me? She said I was different.

She told me, “David, you’re the only real one here.”

Those words meant everything to me.

I started doing all her assignments.

When exams came, I helped her study. She would come to my house sometimes and we would read together in the evening.

One night, while we were reading in my room, she touched my hand and said, “David, thank you for everything. You mean a lot to me.”

My heart started beating fast.

I looked into her eyes and said, “I like you, Anita. I really do.”

She smiled.

She didn’t say she liked me back.

But she didn’t stop me from holding her hand either.

So I thought we were now a couple.

I thought she was my girlfriend.

But while I was planning my future with her, she was busy planning something else…

Something that would break me.

One morning, I came to school early as usual.

I had saved a seat for Anita, like I always did.

But that day, she didn’t sit with me.

She sat at the back of the class—with my best friend, Collins.

At first, I didn’t think much of it.

Maybe she just wanted a different seat. Maybe they were working on something together.

But it kept happening.

The next day, the same thing. And the next.

She stopped waiting for me at the gate.

She stopped calling me at night.

When I asked her, “Anita, what’s going on?”

She laughed and said, “David, must I be with you every second?”

I smiled and nodded. “No… I just miss you, that’s all.”

But deep inside, I felt something was wrong.

Then one day, during break, I walked into the empty school hall. I had forgotten my phone charger in there.

What I saw broke my heart.

Collins was standing close to Anita. Too close.

She was smiling at him the way she used to smile at me.

He was touching her face, and she didn’t stop him.

I turned around and left.

They didn’t even see me.

I wanted to scream. I wanted to cry. But I told myself, “Maybe it’s not what I think. Maybe she’s just being friendly.”

I forced myself to believe that lie.

But deep inside, I knew…

Something was going wrong.
