Teacher and parent storytelling method
(i) Look at the children and tell the stories with good feeling. Do not read them.
(ii) Encourage children to be enthusiastic.
(iii) Children should be told stories that are easy to understand.
(iv) The facial expressions, voice, etc. should be changed to suit the story.
(v) Excessive body movements can be detrimental instead of beneficial - distracting children. So, be very careful.
(vi) Stories should be told to suit the level of knowledge of the children.
(vii) The story should be told in one's own style. Not to say like studying.
(viii) Children need to be made aware of the justice embodied in the story. To put it bluntly it is desirable.
(ix) The story should not take long to tell. Children get tired quickly.
(x) It is good to tell stories by showing shows using pictures.
