There's a spoken word I'm trying to come up with but it's always a struggle to record at the right time.
The last time I tried recording, that's when everyone in my compound decided to wake up and bang the door, the chicken in the house decided it was the best time to crow, the vehicles and bikes decided they wanted to go on a honking spree. 🙄
All sorts of distractions! I recorded almost 10 times and I'm not exaggerating. Anyone who is a creator that involves video or audio will tell you how they have to try and try and try again.
I put it off after then and hadn't found the right moment. I started again this morning and I tried 4 times before I got it right.
The first trial was going fine. The distractions hadn't begun but I didn't put off my data connection. A message came in and made a notification sound. Ugh! That thing dey pain, when things are going fine and you are almost at the end and it gets ruined.
The second trial hadn't even gotten to 5 seconds when I realized that I missed something in the starting point. Delete.
The third trial was going fine too when I made a wrong pronunciation. Delete!
The fourth trial was the one that went fine. Oh, the sigh of relief! Now I can move on to the other aspects of it.
Anyway, anticipate! I'll drop it here as soon as it is done. It was supposed to be a new month spoken word but the month is not over yet. It's not over until it's over, right?
One lesson from there is that, when you fall, rise up again! You won't always get it at the first trial but if you keep trying, you will get it.
