THE IRON THRONE OF LAGOS: CHAPTER TWO

The Iron Throne of Lagos

*Chapter 2: "A New Player"*

The city of Lagos was known for its fast-paced and cutthroat business environment. Only the strongest and most cunning survived, and Aisha was determined to be one of them.

As she navigated the crowded streets of Lagos, Aisha's mind was focused on her next move. She had built her business empire from scratch, using her wit and charm to outmaneuver her competitors.

But Aisha knew that she couldn't rest on her laurels. There were always new players entering the scene, eager to take a bite out of her profits.

And that's exactly what Aisha suspected was happening now.

She had received rumors of a new player in town, someone who was quietly building a business empire that rivaled her own.

Aisha's eyes narrowed as she thought about the implications. Who was this new player, and what did they want?

She was determined to find out.

Aisha arrived at her office, a sleek and modern building in the heart of Lagos. Her assistant, *Tunde*, greeted her with a nod.

"Good morning, boss," he said. "You have a meeting with *Kunle* in 15 minutes."

Aisha nodded, her mind already focused on the meeting ahead. Kunle was a wealthy businessman with connections all over the city. If anyone knew about the new player, it would be him.

As she waited for Kunle to arrive, Aisha's mind wandered back to the rumors she had heard. Who was this new player, and what did they want?

She was determined to find out, no matter what it took.

Kunle arrived promptly at 10 am, a smile spreading across his face as he greeted Aisha.

"Aisha, it's good to see you," he said, his voice smooth. "I hear you're looking for information about a new player in town."

Aisha's eyes locked onto Kunle's, her gaze intense. "I am," she said, her voice firm. "Do you know anything?"

Kunle nodded, a sly smile spreading across his face. "I might know a thing or two," he said. "But it's going to cost you."

Aisha raised an eyebrow, her expression skeptical. "What do you want?" she asked, her voice firm.

Kunle leaned forward, his eyes glinting with excitement. "I want a piece of your business," he said. "A small percentage, just enough to make it worth my while."

Aisha's eyes narrowed, her mind racing with the implications. She knew that giving Kunle a piece of her business would be a risk, but she also knew that she needed the information he had.

"I'll think about it," she said finally, her voice firm.

Kunle nodded, a smile spreading across his face. "I knew you'd see it my way," he said.

As Kunle left, Aisha's mind was racing with the implications. She knew that she had just made a deal with a cunning and ruthless businessman, but she also knew that it was a necessary evil if she wanted to stay ahead of the game.
