TWO THINGS THAT MAKE US ANIMALS

INTRODUCTION.

It’s been a peaceful number of days. No noise from people coming in or moving out. He has gained a dangerous level of freedom. Remember he could stand on his eleven? There is the ego that independence brings. Independence from the notion that without something, or someone or maybe without certain conditions you can’t find peace. He had narrowed it down to a simple point. It was an internal job and he had to keep going. He had to find it within himself to be happy; to be in peace. This time there were no demons to slay. He had come to terms with his conscience he had learnt the value of loving and being kind to himself. When I walk in he is settled on his bed, a mug of coffee at a distance. He is happy to see me. He pours some coffee and within no time we find ourselves into it. He are the two reasons that make us animals with one another.

1)      WE’RE NOT ALIGNED ON THE SAME PURPOSE.

He clears his throat. “ You know it’ll pain you more than when someone kills a child you worked so hard to keep alive. That is your kid and that is your investment. And out of the blues someone doesn’t even consider giving them another leash of life or maybe strangling them, no, it’ll take a lot of time”. He giggles. “ How much we work to give birth to kids we’ll kill along the way. Yes life and all its beauties rapped in misfortunes works more on temporary basis and you’re the only permanent thing in your life, but, why along with it wreck havoc on one another.https://dennisgacibicom.wordpress.com/2022/02/11/two-things-that-make-us-animals/

2)      WE ARE NOT READY TO WORK ON WHAT WE INTIATE.

We give birth to kids we don’t want to breastfeed. We hold too much expectations on each other from the promise of love, care, affection, understanding and support. Well we start conversations we don’t want to indulge in when the tables turn. I love how much audacity we can showcase when our counterparts are not around. How much we have to say about them. Then we’re all lost and short of words when their presence Grace’s the room.

The last time I cared to check, these kids are a fruit of mutual love and desire. They are the fruits of the so delicate trust and the very reason why we are what we are right? Or am I wrong ? Should we quit bringing them to the world or should we find better ways and means to properly deliver them? Can we bring back the ones we killed, back to life And live with the thoughts of having killed our own? Are we so bad monsters can’t compare?

CONCLUSION.

Maybe it’s the same story of the Cat and the rat. The enjoyable one of the lion and the deer. It has been and will be. Is this it? Or maybe there is nothing new under the sun.
