Understanding and Managing Diabetic Sores

Understanding and Managing Diabetic Sores: Keep Your Feet Healthy!🦶✨

Diabetic sores, medically called *diabetic ulcers*, usually appear on the feet due to nerve damage and poor blood flow caused by diabetes. These wounds heal slowly because diabetes reduces circulation, damages nerves (so you might not feel injuries), and weakens your immune system.

To heal and prevent diabetic sores:

1. *Physically*: Inspect your feet daily, keep them clean and dry, wear comfy shoes, and avoid walking barefoot.

2. *Medically*: Control blood sugar tightly, seek professional wound care early, and follow doctor’s advice for dressings and antibiotics when needed.

3. *Herbally*: Support healing by using herbs like garlic (antibacterial), gotu kola (improves circulation), and pomegranate (anti-inflammatory), alongside medical care.

Routine foot care and timely treatment can prevent serious complications like infections and amputations. Small daily steps protect your health and keep you moving!
