The Russian and Ukrainian crisis is getting critical barely hours after the Russian troops descended on the Ukrainian forces. Following the 24 hours shootout and rocket firing at Ukrainian army bases, hundreds of deaths have since been reported.
According to the Reuters and France 24, the Russian troops are already getting access of the Ukrainian Capita Kyiv in an attempt to force President Zelensky into submission. This attacks on Ukraine has attracted global uproar especially from the Western countries which are asking for a cease fire by Russia.
With no one to support the under siege Ukraine, the Taliban of Afghanistan have now come out calling for the two nations to end the fight and look for an amicable way of resolving their differences. Through a press Statement sent by the leadership, the Taliban said that they are closely monitoring the situation in Ukraine and are concerned about the possible casualty on civilians.
Citing their neutrality, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said that both parties should consider dialogue. It went ahead to say that they are paying attention to safeguard the lives of Afghan students and migrants in Ukraine.
"The Taliban has issued an urgent appeal for restraint by both Russia and Ukraine and emphasised on dialogue as the way forward. Thank you, Taliban."
