10 10 things that makes motherhood scary but sweet.

2. The Delivery:- When faced with delivery women just wants the baby out of their body so they can rest but the moment the baby is born there is no rest for the mother. 3. Breastfeeding:- No one tells an expectant mum that breastfeeding can be painful at first so much so that you may be too scared to breastfeed your new born but when the pain period elapse and your breast is full with milk you constantly want to breast feed (what an irony, right?)(https://www.healthline.com/health/breastfeeding/breastfeeding-pain)
4. Opinions:- Either you like it or not other people starts giving you opinions of how they think you should nurse your child, this can be so frustrating at time but you'll eventually get the hang of it and may even do same to a new mother as time goes on. (maybe not intentionally if you’re not a nosy person by nature)(https://www.scarymommy.com/no-more-unsolicited-advice/)
5. Doubts:- As a new mother you’ll keep second guessing yourself and asking if you’re doing this nursing thing right but eventually you’ll realize nobody is perfect, you can only do what’s right at the moment and hope it’s the right thing to do (we’re all trying to figure it out)(https://www.parents.com/pregnancy/my-life/emotions/combating-doubts-about-motherhood/)
6. Baby's milestones: Just when you think yay! Finally a milestone, now I can rest, you’ll notice a new pattern of character development which will probably give you little or no rest but in all this you’ll still be happy to see your baby develop more and more as the days goes by(https://www.emedicinehealth.com/infant_milestones/article_em.htm)
7. Weaning:- As if starting the breastfeeding journey was not enough pain, you get to wean and face the pain of breast engorgement though it can be avoided but most women don’t know that, but if you do, then good for you, but if you don’t then good luck though you can read up on it. 8. Separation:- for so long a new mum's only wish could be to have just a day to herself where no one is following her to the bathroom and tracing her every step, but the moment you take them to school or day-care and you’re alone you begin to miss your little one. (Weird right!) (https://insured.amedadirect.com/preparing-for-your-first-time-away-from-baby/)
9. Worrying:- You can’t stop worrying about your little one when they’re away in school thinking of the different things that could go wrong without you there, as scary as it may sound it’s normal and sweet, it shows you care and love your little one. 10. Wishing:- Forgetting all the pain and stress you had to endure and go through you begin to miss the time your child was still a baby, you crave to hold them again and hug as much as you want so much so that you start thinking of doing it all over again.
