4 THINGS PARENTS SHOULD NEVER DO WHEN THEIR KIDS ARE YOUNG

As parents, many of us have read about or received one lecture or the other on how to raise your kids. Many of such lectures often at times centered on what should do as parents.

Most times there seems to be some omissions as to what we should never do as parents. So therefore, based on research I have come up with some tips on what parents should never do when their kids are young. Without further ado, let's jump in:

FOUR THINGS PARENTS SHOULD NEVER DO WHEN THEIR KIDS ARE YOUNG

1. NEVER MAKE ALL THE CHOICES FOR YOUR KIDS - as parents we think we know better when it comes to making decisions for our kids but some times those decisions are not in the best interest of our kids. Allow them to make mistakes some times so they can let from them. Also allow them figure things out by themselves some times.

2. NEVER PRIZE MONEY OR DEGREES OVER THEIR HAPPINESS - Research have shown that degrees does not guarantee someone's success or failure. As parents we think because we have a degree or are successful in one field, our kids should toll in that field too. I tell you, a degree may waste their time if it has no connection to their interests. I believe if a person is interested in something and works hard at it with passion, he can make a living out of it.

3. NEVER TREAT YOUR KIDS HOBBY AS A WASTE OF TIME - Any hobby you child is interested in, weather sports, debate, music etc always support them because it helps to stay mentally active. It also helps them to learn many things such as team work which can help them to be successful in future.

4. NEVER NEGLECT FINANCIAL LITERACY - Always make efforts to teach your children about money in one form or the other. Always teach them the value of money as related to life and the value of life as related to money.

Finally, these are just my little tips on parenting which I know that if we practice them can help us to raise better and successful children in the world.

Thanks
