More than 89% of American students polled admitted to using ChatGPT for homework assistance, with 53% using it for essay writing. This has led to a significant decrease in the number of tasks for which freelancers can bid or qualify. However, some clients still prefer to use human freelancers and only use machine help for proofreading.
