This Electronic bike can be charged like your phone and it takes 0.8 kilowatts of electric energy which cost approximately sh24. Funny thing is that a single charge can take you up to 50 kilometers. It only requires the rider to simply engage the throttle and they are good to go.  You don’t need to peddle but there is an option of peddling if the powers go out.

The charger is a three-pin and can fit in an ordinary socket thus it is not complicated to charge it. But the most market for these bikes comes from outside Kenya. The biggest challenge is the high taxation when importing complete bikes.
