How to prepare pizza

Here's a simple recipe to prepare a delicious homemade pizza:

 

Ingredients

For the dough:

 

1. 2 cups of warm water

2. 1 teaspoon of sugar

3. 1 teaspoon of active dry yeast

4. 3 cups of all-purpose flour

5. 1 teaspoon of salt

6. 2 tablespoons of olive oil

 

For the toppings:

 

1. Pizza sauce

2. Mozzarella cheese (shredded or sliced)

3. Your choice of toppings (e.g., pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, olives)

 

Instructions

Prepare the dough:

1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the yeast is activated.

2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.

3. Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.

4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours until it doubles in size.

 

Assemble and bake the pizza:

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

2. Punch down the dough and shape it into a circle or rectangle.

3. Place the dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone.

4. Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

5. Add your desired toppings and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

6. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
