On Monday, June 21, NASA's Artemis mission was successfully test launched, which allowed to check some details that still need to be reviewed before the mission can be carried out. This test had two main objectives and five secondary objectives, most of which were met, although the test had to be suspended due to a hydrogen leak detected in the rocket. In spite of the failure, the test is considered successful because these tests are intended to detect this type of problems in order to correct them in the future.

Nasa had previously conducted three tests that were cancelled due to problems pumping more than 700,000 gallons of fuel for the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, which will carry the Orion capsule.

Moon

The Artemis mission will consist of several launches:

Artemis I: an unmanned mission to the Moon, which would orbit the Moon and then return to Earth.

Artemis II: will follow the same route but with a crew aboard.

Artemis III: in 2025 NASA plans to take astronauts to the Moon aboard this spacecraft, the first NASA spacecraft to take humans to our satellite since Apollo 17 did it between December 7 and 19, 1972, almost 50 years ago.
