  1. Focus your gaze on a fixed point: Try to focus your gaze on a stationary object, such as the horizon, a distant tree or a building. This can help to reduce the conflicting signals that your brain receives.

  2. Avoid reading or using electronic devices: When you're in a moving vehicle, avoid activities that require you to focus on nearby objects, such as reading a book or using your phone or tablet. This can make motion sickness worse.

  3. Take deep breaths: Take slow, deep breaths to help calm your body and reduce symptoms of nausea.

  4. Avoid heavy meals and alcohol: Avoid eating a heavy meal or drinking alcohol before traveling, as this can worsen motion sickness.

  5. Take medication: There are several over-the-counter medications that can help prevent or alleviate motion sickness, such as Dramamine, Bonine, and Gravol. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about which medication is right for you.

Remember that everyone experiences motion sickness differently, so it's important to experiment with different strategies to find what works best for you.
