My experience as a lady in tech switching from one career to another

My tech journey started in 2020, during COVID, I discovered a new part of me, I love creating stories with cartoons, I love editing videos, and I also got to write and publish my first ebook.

Then later in 2022 I started a new journey in data analytics, but I got stuck along the way- I think the coding part, but it was interesting especially when it comes to visualization of data.

In 2023, I resigned from my job, to take up a new career path. And I know the only way to do that is to take up new roles as an intern or a volunteer. I was privileged to get an intern role in a francophone country, Cote d'Ivoire. During my internship, I learned a lot about blockchain technology, grant writing, NGOs, and others. This spurred my interest in wanting to know more about blockchain technology.

Fortunately for me, the application form for women techsters came in and I applied. The application was a long one, applying, writing the test, the interview, and all.

I am glad I got in for the fellowship. The orientation program started last week and it has been awesome.

My learning track is in blockchain technology.

I want to use this opportunity to appreciate everyone who has been involved in this journey with me.

Thanks to Tech4Dev for the opportunity given.
