Nigeria Idol Is Back with A Rush Of Talent.

On Saturday, Nigerians greeted the Idol's return to television. After the criticism that followed the recently finished Big Brother Titans, they yearned for another reality program.

Season 8 is back as a result of the popularity of Season 7, which had Progress Chukwuyem emerge as the winner who defeated Zadok who was his biggest challenger, and won N100 Million in gifts as a prize.

Beginning in 2011, Nigerian Idol was a yearly event that lasted until 2015. The music talent search show was canceled for five years before Multichoice brought it back in 2021.

Kingdom Kroseide, a 24-year-old Bayelsa State resident, won the competition in 2021.

Kingdom won N30 million, a recording deal, and other prizes after defeating other brilliant competitors.

In addition, Ogun state-born singer Kunle Ogunrombi, alias K-Peace, was named the fifth season's Nigerian Idol. The 32-year-old earned various accolades in 2015, including a music record deal and a monetary prize of N75 million.

The reality show has continued to give gifted Nigerians a stage on which to display their abilities and a chance to become famous through hard work and devotion, especially in Lagos State, which is recognized as the center of entertainment.

D'Banj, Simi, and Obi Asika were retained as judges for this year's Idols, and most entertainment experts agree that their pairing will make the program fascinating.

The event's organizers also stated that attendees can anticipate a terrific show that will feature a wide variety of songs from various genres and amazing performers.
