Noah's Ark Story.

Noah's Ark Story.

Noah and his ark is a well-known story from the Bible that is believed to have taken place several thousand years ago. According to the story, Noah was a righteous man who was chosen by God to build an ark and save his family and a pair of every kind of animal from a great flood that would destroy the earth.

Noah, along with his three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, worked tirelessly for many years to build the massive ark, which was made of gopher wood and measured 300 cubits in length, 50 cubits in width, and 30 cubits in height.

Once the ark was complete, God instructed Noah to gather his family and the animals and enter the ark. After they were safely inside, it began to rain for forty days and forty nights, causing a great flood that covered the entire earth.

Noah and his family, along with the animals, remained in the ark for a total of 150 days until the waters receded and the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. Noah then released the animals and they repopulated the earth.

The story of Noah and his ark is often seen as a symbol of God's mercy and the importance of obedience to His commands.
