PM Imran launches universal healthcare scheme

State head Imran Khan on Wednesday sent off the Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card plan to give medical coverage to families across Punjab, Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Tharparkar.

The plan will cost the public authority Rs450 billion and will give free clinical treatment to individuals at government and private clinics. Every family can benefit treatment worth Rs1 million yearly.
