Sweet sixteen

My name is awotu I am the only child of my parents I turned 16 last month,two days before my and of term examinations l had waited so eagerly for day to come When I was 14 I read a book titled 'Sweet sixteen;which made me realize that at 16 one is longer a child but a young adult

For as long as I can remembe r I had always hated to be called a child.To me, child.means the same as stupid So children's stuff never interested me Instead, I found myself drawn to grown up things
