When does the human body begin to produce sex hormones?

The secretion of oestrogens by female and androgens by male  begins just weeks after conception, and sexual differentiation begins then 

Androgens stimulate the development of penis and scrotum out of foetal tissue that has the potential of becoming either male or female if no androgens are present, female reproductive structure emerge from the primitive tissue.

Oddly enough, though foetal tested that  secrete androgens are essential to the development of a male , functioning foetal 

ovaries do not seem required for the female development.

The production of sex hormones stimulated in foetal life by placental hormones, falls off drastically after birth.it appears  that a child gonads are capable of producing hormones but that is hypothalamus probably does not yet secrete the releasing hormones needed to make the pituitary produce gonad-stimulating hormone and nobody knows why.

Why do adolescent grow  so fast ??

At the peak of adolescent growth, boys shoot up to 100 millimetres (4inches) a year , girls at an average rate of 85 millimetres (3inches) in the period of growth.

Rapid growth in adolescent owes more to the sex hormones than to somatotropin , or growth hormone.

Do men produce any female hormones??

At first the scientist thought that cannot be possible male produce their hormones also females .

It soon became evident that both males and females actually produce same sex hormones. What makes the sexes different from each other is the proportion of masculinizing and feminising hormones each one has .

In women the influence of oestrogens is greater than that of androgens 

Growth -Hormone Deficiency 

When a child is short for his age , it may be because he has inherited genes for short stature,but bu it can also be a sign that something is wrong. Possibilities include blood or liver disease, malnutrition, emotional deprivation or insufficient production of growth rate.

Between the ages of 3and 9,the average youngster growsabout 50 millimetres (2 inches)every year
