The ocean is a large body of water that occupies a depression on the surface of the earth.the study of ocean is called oceanography.

Types of ocean

They are four major types of ocean in the world and the rest contitude the sea.these are:

The Pacific ocean: The pacific ocean which occupies 105 million cm square

The Antalantic ocean: The Antalantic ocean which occupies 82 million km square

The Indian ocean: The indian ocean

Whichoccupies 72 million km square

The Arctic ocean: The arctic ocean which occupies 14 million km square

The largest of all types/ division of oceans is the Pacific ocean.
