True friendship

Kelvin and Donald met at a church function some years back, both parties had never met but for that event that connected them. As the the crowd dispersed to their various destinations, people said their hi’s and bid their fellow members goodbye, Donald walked up to kelvin and congratulated him on a nice performance and that was the beginning of a lasting friendship, there wasn’t a day that I passed that the friendship wasn’t nurtured and eventually they were inseparable brothers, years had gone by and Donald started feeling he wasn’t wanted  anymore then he confirmed his assertions when he called kelvin and he said he was out of town only for him to pass by to check on his family and met him at home in the living room, this act broke him and he decided to keep his distance as he wasn’t as important as he taught he was to kelvin, true “friendship doesn’t lie” he kept saying
