Google Assistant is a free app that you can download on your Android device to be able to use this feature.

Once activated, you can set it up so that the voice feature activates when you hold down or tap the home button.

Once set up, all you have to do is say the usual “Hey Google” before naming the spell. The trick is just to say "lumos" to Google Assistant and the torch will magically turn on.

The most popular spell in the movie “Lumos” illuminates the room. When you say “Lumos” to Google Assistant, it will turn your phone torch on.

Some people might have to say “Lumos Maximus”. Then, to turn off the flashlight, all you have to do is say “Nox”.
