JEE Mains Admit Card 2023

JEE Main is a national level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate engineering courses in various institutes across India. The examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) twice a year, in January and April.

 

The JEE Main examination is divided into two papers: Paper 1 for admission to B.E./B.Tech courses and Paper 2 for admission to B.Arch/B.Planning courses. Both papers are conducted in online mode, and the duration of each paper is three hours.

 

Paper 1 is divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section contains a total of 30 questions, and the total number of marks for the paper is 360. Candidates must attempt at least 25% of the total number of questions in each section to be eligible for ranking.

 

Paper 2 is divided into three sections: Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing. The Mathematics section contains 30 questions, the Aptitude section contains 50 questions and the Drawing section contains 2 questions. The total number of marks for the paper is 390.

 

To be eligible for the JEE Main examination, candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination in 2018, 2019 or 2020 are eligible to appear for the JEE Main examination.

 

The JEE Main results are usually declared a few weeks after the examination. The results are published on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA), and candidates can check their results by entering their roll number and date of birth.
