The First Meeting
The morning was bright when Lila, Jide, Tolu, and Sade met at a small park seat.
Lila said, “Jide, why are you smiling at me like you know my mind today?”
Jide laughed. “Maybe I know it a little. Maybe your mind is smiling too.”
Tolu looked at them. “Please talk slow. You both sound like a sweet movie scene.”
Sade said, “Let them talk. It is cute to watch something soft this early.”
Lila touched her hair. “Jide, you talk too bold. Who taught you this strong charm?”
Jide said, “No one. I use it when I see someone special like you.”
Lila looked away. “If you say so. But do not make me shy in front of them.”
The Funny Walk Together
They all decided to walk around the park with slow steps and light talk.
Tolu said, “Lila, Jide is trying too hard. Tell him to calm a little.”
Lila laughed. “I like it small. But he must stop talking like he is a hero.”
Jide smiled. “I am not a hero. I just want her to see my real heart.”
Sade said, “Your real heart is loud. Please reduce the volume for us.”
Jide replied, “I cannot. It beats strong when she stands close to me.”
Lila shook her head. “You make my friends laugh too much with your lines.”
Tolu said, “At least he is honest. Some people cannot say one true thing.”
The Park Drama Begins
They reached the water fountain where two friends, Remi and Kemi, waited.
Remi shouted, “Finally you are here. We saw you all flirting from far away.”
Lila said, “Please stop. We are only talking like normal people.”
Kemi smiled. “Normal? Jide is almost singing love songs with his eyes.”
Jide laughed. “If I sing, it will be only for Lila. And maybe you clap.”
Lila covered her face. “Please stop looking at me like that in public.”
Remi said, “Do not hide. It is cute. You both look like new lovers already.”
Sade whispered, “If they fall in that fountain, I will not save them.”
The Unexpected Confession
They all sat down near the fountain while the water made soft sounds.
Jide said, “Lila, I like you. I like your smile more than anything here.”
Lila looked quiet. “Are you sure you are not joking like before?”
Jide shook his head. “No joke. I say it because it is true for me.”
Tolu said, “Just say your reply. Do not leave him hanging like a bag.”
Lila smiled small. “I like you too. I only feared you were too forward.”
Remi clapped. “Finally. We waited for this talk since last week.”
Kemi said, “Now you two must act normal. No over-sweet talk today.”
The Ending with Love and Laugh
They walked together again, but this time Lila held Jide’s hand softly.
Jide said, “Can I hold tighter or is this enough for you now?”
Lila laughed. “Hold it the way you want. I trust your hand already.”
Tolu said, “Please do not start kissing here. We want peace in this park.”
Sade smiled. “Let them enjoy small. It is their new moment.”
Remi said, “Love is funny when it starts. But this one looks real.”
Kemi added, “Yes, real and sweet. I like how simple everything feels.”
They all laughed and left the park with warm hearts and soft joy.
