In a recent statement, rapper Odumodublvck has addressed the allegations surrounding his departure from the homecoming concert organized by dancer Pocolee at the Ojo campus of Lagos State University (LASU). Contrary to rumors suggesting that he fled due to an attack by cult members, Odumodublvck denies these claims.
During the concert on Thursday, Odumodublvck, along with other artists such as Zlatan Ibile, Bella Shurmda, and Mohbad, delivered an electrifying performance that delighted the attending students. However, the event took an unexpected turn when unidentified individuals breached the VIP area, causing some performers to leave the venue as a precautionary measure.
Amidst the circulating videos shared on social media capturing the incident, Odumodublvck took to Twitter on Friday to set the record straight. He refuted the speculation that he abandoned the concert due to the chaos, stating, "The internet is a crazy place. We didn't run away from a fight; it was the excessive attention and photo requests we were evading. Do people really run away from fights with such style? Internet is truly amazing. #OSAPALONDON."
Odumodublvck's clarification aims to dispel any misconceptions about his actions at the LASU homecoming concert, emphasizing that he prioritized personal safety and distancing himself from the commotion rather than fleeing from any confrontation.
