Penile Cancer
Penile cancer is one of the rare cancers in men. When cancer cells enter the penis and are left untreated, they grow into tumors.Initially, there are abnormal changes in the penis, and then gradually other organs and tissues become different. It can spread to the lymph nodes and cause death.
How can you tell if you have penile cancer?
Early signs are:
Inflammation of the penis
Swelling
Wounds that look like an infection
Excessive itching
Burning sensation inside the penis
Abnormal fluid leaks
Abnormal color of the penis
Thickening and hardening of the skin of the penis
Inflammation of the lymph nodes around the thighs.
It is very important to see a doctor as soon as possible if you have any of these symptoms. Penile cancer can be treated early and it is easier to treat if you have other health problems.
Who is at risk?
This is especially true for men who have not had their foreskin removed. When the scalp is not cut, white patches may stick around the tip of the penis and need to be cleaned almost daily. When left unmanaged, they can be left astray and lose the right path to cancer.
Men 60 years of age and older
People who are addicted to smoking
• Lack of personal hygiene
People who are infected with a sexually transmitted disease, such as HPV, are also more likely to be infected.
