The Elemental Prophecy
_Chapter 7: The Crystal's Secret_
Kaito's eyes widened as he felt the surge of elemental energy course through his veins. The crystal, now glowing brighter than ever before, seemed to be imbuing him with its power.
Lyra's eyes locked onto Kaito's, her expression a mixture of awe and concern. "Kaito, what's happening?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Kaito shook his head, unsure of how to respond. He felt like he was being transformed, his body and mind infused with the elemental energy of the crystal.
As the energy continued to build, Kaito felt himself being lifted off the ground. He rose into the air, his body glowing with a soft, blue light.
Lyra gasped, her eyes fixed on Kaito's glowing form. "Kaito, you're...you're becoming one with the elements!"
Kaito's mind reeled as he realized the truth of Lyra's words. He was becoming a true elemental warrior, his body and mind infused with the power of the elements.
As the energy reached its peak, Kaito felt himself being propelled forward, his body moving at incredible speeds. He soared through the air, the wind rushing past him in a deafening roar.
And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the energy dissipated. Kaito crashed to the ground, his body trembling with exhaustion.
Lyra rushed to his side, her eyes scanning his face with concern. "Kaito, are you okay?" she asked, her voice shaking with worry.
Kaito nodded, his chest heaving with exhaustion. "I...I think so," he stammered.
Lyra helped Kaito to his feet, her eyes locked onto his. "We need to get out of here," she said, her voice firm. "The crystal's power is too great for us to handle alone."
Kaito nodded, his mind still reeling from the experience. As they turned to leave, he caught sight of a hidden door, cleverly concealed behind a nearby tapestry.
The door was adorned with intricate carvings of elemental symbols, and it seemed to be pulsing with a soft, blue light.
Kaito's eyes locked onto the door, his heart pounding with excitement. "Lyra, look!" he whispered, his finger pointing at the hidden door.
Lyra's eyes followed Kaito's finger, her expression a mixture of curiosity and trepidation. "What do you think it is?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Kaito's eyes gleamed with excitement. "I think it's a doorway to the secrets of the ancient elemental mages," he said, his voice filled with wonder.
