Nigeria as a country has different religions which includes the Christias, Muslims and traditionalist.They all belief in their own different ways but to one supreme being (God).The Christians consist of the Catholics, the Anglican, the seventh day Adventist church, protestants, Methodist, they all believe in one supreme being but has different ways of worship.
The Catholics celebrate the holy Mass, the Anglican celebrate Sunday services but similar to that of the Catholics, the protestants perform service. All these differences brings about the division of religional practices in Nigeria.
Although the Christians sometimes find solutions to their problems in traditional ways which is one of the factors that still unite them. Having mentioned all these differences,
WHAT IS THE WAY FORWARD?
What if our country gets divided due to differences in religion? What if people deviates from worshipping to aetheism? What is aetheists stay in the religion of Nigeria?
THE WAY FORWARD
Nigeria as a country with the most population of over 240 million people which all has different religional dimensions.
The Christians, traditionalist and Muslims should form a socio-cooperative group that unites them together and they should talk on issues affecting the religional system in Nigeria, although they all point at one belief which is serving and worshipping the supreme being. International pilgrims should be hosted for the coming together of all religions. The government should help in building religional houses and centres. Also the ethnicity and tribalism in Nigeria also affect religion, Nigerians should stop discrimination and come together to worship God, because all we need in Nigeria now is prayer. Prayer session should be organised which consists of all races and tribes ie the Muslims, traditionalist and the Christians. More boarding or housing schools should be built because it is one of the instructions that brings different religions together.
More so, aetheists should be sensitized over the need to be religious because if they are not put in line with religion they will join hands together to scatter religion in Nigeria
Most importantly, some common things should be created to exist among Nigerians, so as to bond the relationship between all religional races or dimensions.
In conclusion, the government should play a role in the facilitation of the religious system in Nigeria.
